Goodwill Message to Kenyans on celebrating Madaraka Day 2015
On behalf of the Commissioners, Management and Staff of the Kenya Law Reform Commission, we wish to convey our warmest wishes and congratulations to all Kenyans on the auspicious occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the Madaraka Day of the Republic of Kenya on 1st June 2015.We are pleased to note that the social, economic and political development of our people has continued to flourish and strengthened in a wide range of areas of legal and institutional reforms since independence. This has further been underscored by the enactment and adoption of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on the August of 27th 2010 which has birthed several gains to the people such as devolution, affirmative action among others.
We are confident that the Kenya Law Reform Commission, partners and the people of Kenya will continue working closely in all areas in strengthening issue based, citizen centered, accountable and result-oriented law reforms towards realizing our development goals as spirited in the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and the vision 2030 blueprint.
Please accept our highest best wishes and congratulations.
