This is the first documented Strategic Plan of the Kenya Law Reform Commission (KLRC) and is as a result of cumulative activities that the KLRC has undertaken since the appointment of the Chairman and Commissioners in 2003. The KLRC sought to adopt a participatory and consultative process bearing in mind that this was a new process within the institution. Indeed the strategic planning process has given the KLRC new insights already in carrying out its work. A critical component of an effective strategic plan is the ownership and practicality of its implementation. It was thus necessary to ensure that all staff as well as Commissioners were involved in its preparation.
Note this Plan has since lapsed and the process of developing a new one has started
