This is the report which contains the findings of the legislative and policy audit in the Agricultural sector in Kenya. It provides an in-depth sectoral analysis of both the national and county governments under the current devolved system of governance. It also identifies the gaps and challenges and further outlines recommendations for harmonization and alignment of legislation and policy in the sector.
The development and finalization of this Report benefited from the contribution of various institutions individuals and stakeholders including Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) at both levels of Government, the Private Sector, Non-State Actors, Parliament and the Office of the Attorney-General were consulted and their views considered.
